Knee Surgery

18 Jan

I had knee surgery about 1 year ago and boy it went great. I have a problem about being put to sleep before surgery and Dr. Lane made it so easy for me. I had no trouble waking up, and I wasn’t sick either. Dr Kundson and Paula (his PA) did a great job on the surgery and made sure all my questions were answered. Afterwards I had to call with questions and his nurse Sandy got back to me with the answer in a very short time.
Thanks alot everyone…

Excellent Care by Everyone!!!

I had surgery at Covenant and I had excellent care from the staff in pre-op to discharge.  Dr. Wait and Dr. Lane made me feel so comfortable and relaxed, and answered ALL my questions before and during surgery. I won’t go any place else but Covenant next time I have surgery.

Great treatment

11 Jan

I would just like to take a moment to say thank you to the staff that took care of me for my surgery on January 7th, 2010. Everyone treated me with great care and kindness. Maribeth was completely fabulous! Jodi and Ramona treated me with respect getting me ready for surgery, which was an awkward situation for me. I really couldn’t think of anything that could have been improved upon. Thank you all!

Surprise! Surprise!

No one ever plans to have an accident or to get hit by a car, but it happens anyway. Most of the time it happens to others and you pray that it doesn’t happen to you. In January 2004, after two days in a comma, I regained consciousness surrounded by a room full of strangers. Before the accident I had been humming "I woke up with my mind stayed on Jesus". Despite the first prognosis by some that I might not walk again, and a reply of "I thought that you had died" from a paramedic who had driven me to the hospital, the excellent care, knowledge and compassion of Dr. Richard Naylor, his staff, and the majority of the staff at Covenant, I am alive in a number of ways. Some of the staff have been very encouraging and treated me more like family than strangers. I have been encouraged and supported in a new business venture, "Eye of the Needle," and I am healthy again, walking and living life.

Seeing Us Through Rough Times

We are proud to say that we are patients of Dr. Savereide. Over the last 6 years he has seen me through a double mastectomy with his comforting demeanor and GREAT bedside manner. He has also seen my husband through hernia surgeries. Now he is treating my mother for breast and colon cancer. There are no real words to express what he has meant to me and my family. He could give you a touch on the arm and tell you everything is going to be okay and he truly means it. I would hope some of these young doctors just coming into the business could take a few lessons from a man and surgeon like Dr. Savereide. There is so much to learn from him. Thank you for all you have done for my family. We could not have done it without you and God guiding those hands in a soft and patient manner.
