My husband, Rick, had surgery done by Dr. Lantz on a tendon and heel spur on Jan.11,2012. He had an adverse reaction to some meds and/or anesthesia, and spent way more time that normal in post-op and then was admitted for an overnight stay on what was to have been outpatient surgery. We are both so very thankful to have had such knowledgeable, professional, compassionate and caring people taking care of him. From the time we were admitted at 5 a.m. on the 11th until we left at noon on the 12th, we couldn’t have asked for better care. Thank you to Cindi(preadmission), Michelle W. (admitting nurse), Dr. Lantz and his staff in the OR with nurses Maggie and Cindy V. – all the caregivers in post-op were all so great! A very special thanks to Danette (Danny), who spent the better part of the day taking care of Rick and was such an angel to Rick, my daughter and myself. She couldn’t have done any more than she did and we are so grateful to have had her. We were treated like family and it meant so very much. We also want to thank all the 3rd floor caregivers who were very helpful and kind as well. And last but not least, we thank the gals from PT who helped Rick with his crutch training. Thank you all so much for making a “not so pleasant time” much more comfortable and bearable. We did not meet a person that treated us with anything but caring and compassion and professionalism! BRAVO Covenant!
Our sincere thanks and appreciation,
Rick and Darla S.
